1. Update on election process
Unfortunately there was no interested candidates who came forward into the election process. Three positions were elected via acclamation.
Claudio Sousa – President
Russ Watts – Vice President
Richard Loiselle – Media Relations
While the lack of participation is certainly not ideal, I believe with a strong group of volunteers we can manage to run some events and have a fantastic season. I encourage all members to come out to our opening season meeting and identify where they would like to help out. We will hold a mid or late season election process for the vacant positions.
Over the next three weeks I will be coordinating an on-line membership survey to gauge the interest of our group in different initiatives and events.
2. Season Planning/Volunteer Meeting
Come out and get updates on a variety of club initiatives, take a look at the draft event/activity calendar and offer your time and suggestions. Pencil in the following date/time (location to be confirmed)

3. Spring Safety Seminar
If you have never been formally trained or learned where to position yourself in traffic for maximum visibility and safety, what you learn in this session could save your life. Join us for a classroom-based session of tips and tricks to keep you safe.

Location: Safety Services Manitoba (to be confirmed)
