Advertising Rates & Policies (Effective March 13, 2005)

A: Our site sees the majority of its traffic from April to September with a peak in July.
While these stats are not exceptionally large relative to larger commercial sites, visitors to Scootering Manitoba's site are a very focused audience. They are here exclusively for scooters and mopeds.

• Page Sponsor - Ad appears on the right hand side of a page (ad size 150w x 200h pixels)
  Home Page - $25 per month*
  Forum Page - $50 per month*
  Other Pages - $10 per month*

• If using an email popup, we can pre-fill the subject line of the message so that you can recognize the origin of the email.
• If linking to your site, your hosting provider may be able to provide a "referring site" statistic report showing which sites are leading to yours.
• If you don't have statistical reporting capabilities on your web site, Scootering Manitoba can implement a design which captures the statistics of how many people follow the link. These statistics can be reported monthly.

• (1) The words "Paid Advertisement" must appear with clear visibility either adjacent to or within the ad itself.
• (2) Opinions expressed on the forum are those of individuals and not the Scootering Manitoba. As such, advertisers may not make requests to have forum content edited or removed. Posts by members which are deemed slanderous in nature may be removed at the discretion of the Club Executives.
• (3) The full extent of Scootering Manitoba's privacy policy applies. No advertiser will be given membership lists or access to email lists of members.
• (4) Scootering Manitoba may request that the design or content of the ad be changed if it is deemed to be offensive or inconsistent with the values of Scootering Manitoba.
• (5) Scootering Manitoba retains the right to deny advertising to organizations which do not appear to be credible businesses; are advertising products or services which are inappropriate for a general audience; or do not have products or services of interest to Scootering Manitoba's membership.

• We can design ads which are simple/still (no animation) for you provided you give us any logos or other artwork in digital format at no charge.
• A $40 fee is charged if you want an animated ad or need us to create all of the artwork.
